Taj Gorbandh Palace, Jaisalmer

Hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable. Restaurant and cleaning staff are charming and eager to please.

The hotel is distant from the center of town and transportation is limited so best for people who have brought their own vehicles. Had to ask a few times for requests to be completed.

Rooms size is fair rates are on higher side compared to room sizes

Fitness center was not fully functional hotel work is under process

The gorbandh palace was gorgeous! The staff were delightful. Thank you Jarshit, Nikhil, Devika and Rajni. The pool was perfect

Location was good but I paid close to 8K and they didn’t even gave us complimentary tea or breakfast highly dissatisfied

Power points were not working, tv wasn’t working it was in horrible condition, room was not clean, AC wasn’t working

After huge effort to find one good thing in the property , I couldn’t find anything except reception staff.

Everything , Room was smelling of dampness, walls were dirty, Outdoors wasn’t clean, Glasses were mostly damaged,Room TV had scratches and it did not have popular channels. I asked for water and staff said he will provide only in flask and not bottled water . only2 500ml water bottles given in such a hot place .Food exorbitantly priced . City was2.5 kms away . No shops in a diameter of 2.5 Kms . Roofs of sun windows badly clogged.

food was great.. room was average .. good location and ambience .. staff cooperative

breakfast was cold .. no cultural programme .. room had many mosquitoes on entering .. later they did spray after which it was okay

Uneasy.

Room AC was not working and staff did not managed to fix it.. I had a late checkin around 9 PM and then there was no cooling in room.I had to sleep with fan turned on at full speed, kept calling hotel staff till 11.30 to fix but they paid no attention. Only reply they gave is its centrally cooled we cannot do amything.

The property organized cultural events during our stay. The property is well kept and maintained well. Rest of the staff was very polite and helpful.

However I felt the manager was a bit rude. He judged me by the way I was dressed when I checked in. I had traveled a lot, so obviously I was in my sweats. But that does not mean you treat them any lower.

No prior sanitization and cleanliness during checkin. Authority was not truthful for cleanliness during the checkin process. Had to fight for changing the room.

Extremely dirty , unhygienic, poor staff, dirty rooms , no covid measures , extremely poor service - very disappointed, no value for money - shall never recommend

They need to work on every hod damn service a food , hygiene , room service - everything

The rooms we got were at the fag end of the hotel. It took us quite a few minutes of walking to reach the rooms from the lobby / restaurant. But the walk was worth it. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds comfortable. There's ample of parking space available. The hotel is located on the Jaisalmer - Sam road and is away from the hustle &. Bustle of the town. Reaching the tourist spots does not take more than 10 mins.

The rooms need some maintenance. Eg. Two lamps in our room were not working, so it was a bit dimly lit.

Property is beautiful and well managed.

But in-house food was very expensive and also the service staff was not good. They didn’t had manners and they entered room without asking you

Food quality was good.

Not value for money, basic things in Room were missing. Professional approach from reception desk was missing completely.

Breakfast was ok. Location is perfect. Staff was very humble and supportive.

Property is old, needs renovation of rooms and toilets. Food is expensive and doesn't meets the expectations.

The rooms were clean and hygienic

The service... Hotel staff was not at all friendly.... The open common areas like garden and swimming pool were not clean

Huge disappointment

Hotel's cleanliness not maintained, there were hair all around the room, no replenishing of tea/coffee, toiletries. Rooms were gloomy. Paid almost 11000 that too without breakfast, Not worth a single penny. Would like to have our hard earned money refunded Huge disappointment.

BF was good, Location was excellent, Food in gen was good.

The hotel probably had just restarted after Covid & suddenly there was a rush, their regular staff seems has not yet resumed work so they are somehow managing with temporary staff.

Property is Big and nice. They had cultural programmes every evening

Service was very Bad. AC was not working and Fan was making a lot of noise. Extra bed provided was shaking and could not be used. Food options were not great. Exorbitant price charged for very poor quality of rooms.
